Is your company licensed and/or insured?
Our Trades Lead Andy Hale is a certified Journeyman with Toronto’s Carpenters Union | Local 27. He and the rest of the team are also WSIB certified, and Halecons is a registered business in Ontario.
What kind of construction do we specialize in?
I am a Journeyman Carpenter who specializes in Drywall, Wood/Steel Stud Framing, Taping and Finish Carpentry.

How long does a typical construction project take?
We’ll be better able to provide a timeline once we know more about your specific project, but please know we are happy to discuss and work out a timeline that is suitable for your needs.

How long do quotes take?
We aim to responed to quotes within 24 hours.
Are all trades completed by certified trades?
Yes, our team is comprised of all certified trades, we gurantee your satisfaction of our work.
Is Halecons WSIB certified?
Yes, all Halecons team members are certified with WSIB Ontario for both your safety and ours.
How do we charge for projects? By the hour, job, etc.?
We typically bill by the job and are very transparent about all costs up front so there are no surprises.
Do we have our own crew or do we hire subcontractors?
Most of the crew is set, we occasionally refer additional trades but this is most often at the request of our customers based on joint consultation, and often related to additional work not related to our specific scope or specialization. (e.g., roofing, electrical, etc.)
Do you offer free in-person estimates?
Short answer, yes! Generally we work over the phone first to make sure we are a good fit for your opportunity, from there we visit and quote before commencing on the job, and any spend.
